| | So, you wanna know what rhymes with "crack"? Snack attack? Heavy backpack? My friend Shaq? Sharp as a tack? I'm bringing SexyBack? YEP! hahaha... Yes, those all rhyme with "crack". But the one that I want to write about today is... "(F)IRAC"! (sigh) Those who have undergone (or like me, currently undergoing) the lovely experience of law school know what the "crack" I'm referring to. IRAC or FIRAC (as I am being taught these days) stands for Facts, Issue(s), Rule(s), Application, and Conclusion/holding. These are the necessary elements that must be extracted when one briefs a case. So why am I boring you with these details? It has been brought to my attention that I do not sound like me (or Mi) in my last two entries. My reason for this is because my brain is jumbled with the above, and Heaven knows, will only continue to be jumbled with legalese and pretty useless case knowledge, so much so that I do not realize which "voice" I am using when I type up these entries when I should be otherwise studying, creating outlines, briefing cases and working... shit... oh yes, I am still working part-time while in school. ACK! Which brings me to my long standing conclusion that I will no longer be posting... at least not publicly. If you wanna know what's going on in my life, I can be reached by cellphone, email and AIM. Thank you readers! PEACE! |
